About the Author

DeluxeNote was originally created by Albert Rodríguez, who started its development in June 2019. In February 2020 he founded the Barcelona-based company Besuau to market it and continue its development. First version was released on June 30, 2020, and licenses were sold at an early adopter sale price, as the software still lacked important features. Throughout 2020-2022, many updates were released —almost monthly— that made DeluxeNote much more complete. However, it failed to reach a large audience and Besuau closed all years with losses.

In March 2024 Besuau stopped business activity, as Albert resolved to close the company and take ownership of DeluxeNote. Since then licenses can be activated for free. Albert continues developing DeluxeNote and publishing new updates.
